( Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade)“Ba Duan Jin”, also known as “Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade” in English, is a canon in the traditional Chinese Qi Gong life nurturing system. "Five Animal-Frolics" is one of the Chinese ancient "Dao-Yin" techniques. It imitates the movements and appearances of tiger, deer, bear, ape, and bird. The "Five Animal-Frolics" belongs to the "Dong- Qi Gong" and was advocated by Hua-Tao (?-AD208), a famous medical doctor in the Han dynasty. |
